I Had It

I’m sorry for sounding upset but I am. I can’t believe I lost with a Double Down yet again. I can’t figure out how people hit it day after day after day. I’m up to 2 days without a streak and I’m done with Double Down. That’s it. I don’t even care anymore. I’m worried about myself not the leader or the leaderboard because eventually they will fall. It’s only a matter of time. Let’s do it.

Recap Of April 24th– Jose Altuve-2 for 6- Altuve had a good game and he would of been a good choice.

Eric Hosmer- 2 for 3- His hitting streak continued and is now at 14.

Lorenzo Cain- 1 for 4- He still isn’t hitting well but he did get a hit off of Wright. Was one of my Sleepers.

Logan Forsythe- 3 for 5- Had a great game and continues to hit Pineda well. Was my second Sleeper.

Albert Pujols- 2 for 4- Had no hits against Miley but of course he gets 2 yesterday. Was my Pick To Avoid.

Stephen Piscotty- 0 for 5- Piscotty was hitting well and because I picked him he went hitless. Was the second half of my Double Down.

Posey has 4 hits for an .800 average against Pomeranz in his career so far. Posey has a 1.083 WOBA against Pomeranz in his career so far. Forsythe has 20 hits for a .303 average so far this season. Forsythe has a .393 WOBA so far this season. Forsythe has 4 hits for an .800 average against Gausman in his career so far. Adam Jones Ruined It

I thought for sure that I was going to extend my streak last night but Adam Jones failed and he was hitting well against last night’s starter but it wasn’t to be. Once again I failed on a Double Down and I promise this time after today I’m not doing it at all anymore. It’s too hard to win anything with doing it every day. The current BTS leader is at 28 after going with Bryce Harper yesterday. Everybody is on a streak but myself but I am hoping to be after tonight. Let’s do it.

Recommended Picks By MLB For April 24th– Jose Altuve– Altuve has never faced Henry Owens before but he could do something against Boston tonight. Altuve has 22 hits for a .314 average so far this season. Altuve has a .444 WOBA so far this season. Altuve has never faced Owens in his career so I have no idea why he is recommended as there are better options.

Eric Hosmer- Hosmer is another pick that could do well today against Mike Wright and Baltimore. He hasn’t faced Wright much and he could be shut down. Hosmer has 20 hits for a .299 average so far this season. Hosmer has a .433 WOBA so far this season. Hosmer has 0 hits in 1 at bat against Wright in his career so far. No Streak For The Second Straight Day

Well I have no streak for the second straight day. I picked Murphy and Harper. Murphy had a hitting streak as of yesterday but on the day I pick him of course he does nothing and his hitting streak ends. So sick of this but eventually something will click. The other night I had Puig and he was raking against the pitcher that night and of course on the day I pick him he goes hitless. This sucks but I know something will happen. The current BTS leader is at 26 as Edwin Encarnacion ended a lot of streaks last night. Carol has a streak and hopefully we will all have streaks tomorrow. Let’s do it.

Recommended Picks By MLB For April 22nd– Buster Posey- Posey could have a very good game tonight against Jarred Cosart and Miami. Posey has 13 hits for a .255 average so far this season. Posey has a .311 WOBA so far this season. Posey has 2 hits for a 1.000 average against Cosart in his career so far. Posey has a .900 WOBA against Cosart in his career so far. Posey didn’t play yesterday against Arizona but he should start tonight and could have a great game.

Corey Seager- Seager isn’t somebody I would pick but he could do well against Jon Gray and Colorado tonight. Seager has 14 hits for a .226 average so far this season. Seager has a .254 WOBA so far this season. Seager has 1 hit for a 1.000 average against Gray in his career so far. Seager has a .975 WOBA against Gray in his career so far. Seager has only one at bat against Gray so I wouldn’t’ actually like him since he isn’t hitting but the game is in Colorado which is where baseballs go to die.

Sleeper Picks For April 22nd– Brandon Belt- Belt is somebody who I actually like for tonight against Jarred Cosart and Miami. Belt has 16 hits for a .262 average so far this season. Belt has a .344 WOBA so far this season. Belt has 2 hits for a 1.000 average against Cosart in his career so far. Belt has a 1.075 WOBA against Cosart in his career so far. Sleeper Pick Record: 19-12-3- Puig didn’t do anything the other night which was a great surprise.

Pick To Avoid For April 22nd– Manny Machado- Machado does have a hit in every game so far this season but I think tonight he will finally go hitless against Chris Young and Kansas City. Machado has 24 hits for a .407 average so far this season. Machado has a .522 WOBA so far this season. Machado has 0 hits in 3 at bats against Young in his career so far. Machado has a .175 WOBA against Young in his career so far. Machado could probably go hitless tonight so I would be careful.

Pick To Avoid Record: 6-9-2- Jones went hitless against Toronto on Wednesday.

My Pick(s) For April 22nd– Brandon Belt and Buster Posey. For all stats see Recommended Picks and Sleeper Picks.

Current Record: 11-8- Murphy’s hitting streak ended on the day I pick him. Of course it did.

Very Close Call

I came very close on Tuesday in BTS to not having a streak for a second straight day but Cano came through in his last at bat. Double Down doesn’t work and I will do it from time to time and I “may” have figured out BTS. We will see if I can get a streak going on to find out. The current BTS leaders are at 27 but they will fall in time. Carol, it sucks you aren’t on a streak but I know you will come through. Let’s do it.

McCutchen has 14 hits for a .250 average so far this season. McCutchen has a .347 WOBA so far this season. McCutchen wouldn’t be the best pick as he never faced Pomeranz and he might not do anything.

Puig has an .806 WOBA against Teheran in his career so far. Puig rakes against Teheran and I think that will continue tonight.

My Pick(s) For April 20th– Yasiel Puig is my first pick for tonight. For all stats see Sleeper Picks above.

Los Angeles Angels at Chicago White Sox. 38% chance of rain throughout the game. Pick accordingly.

Disclaimer: My personal picks can change without notice based on lineups and also if any game is rained out.

Votto Failed

Joey Votto looked like the best pick on a short schedule but he failed and did nothing and it’s all because of the shift. He got shifted on a lot and he did nothing. One A Day Is It

One a day is the way to go. The BTS leader fell thanks to Double Down and Jose Abreu not getting a hit. Double Down is not the way to win and nobody sees it. It works if you want to get a good streak quickly but that’s it. I hope Carol gets going but I didn’t see Marte not starting yesterday. Let’s do it.

Possible Rainouts: Milwaukee Brewers at Minnesota Twins. 30% chance of rain 1 hour into the game. Pick accordingly.

Disclaimer: My personal picks can change without notice based on lineups and also if any game is rained out.

Double Down Sucks

I have no idea how the leaders pick double down day after day after day and hit it but it has to be they are picking blindly and getting lucky. That’s the only explanation for it. The current BTS leader is at 26 but time is ticking. I can’t hit it every day and I’m done with it. It’s too stressful and too hard. One a day is the way to go and the Professor, Carol, Liber and Drag all know what I’m talking about. Let’s do it.

Recap Of April 16th– Christian Yelich- 0 for 2- Was on a hitting streak but that ended against Bud Norris.

One A Day Is The Way To Go

Some people don’t understand that Double Down is so hard to win BTS but people will still do it. I have been playing since it was only 1 a day along with the good Professor, Dragbunt, Carol and Mark. We know that one a day is how you go because it’s less stressful but the current BTS leader is at 25 but they will fall. People are starting to fall and it’s only a matter of time. Let’s do it.

Time To Do This

I got back on the BTS board last night thanks to Beltre and Carpenter. Time to do this now and the current BTS leader is at 23 but it’s only a matter of time until they will fall because they keep on doing Double Down and that is the kiss of death. Today is Jackie Robinson Day in MLB so that means everybody will be wearing number 42 to honor him so it should be a fun day. Carol is the only one not on a streak but I know she will come through tonight. Let’s do it.

Recommended Picks By MLB For April 15th– Jose Altuve- Altuve is starting to hit and I think that will continue tonight against Mike Pelfrey and Detroit. Pick To Avoid Record: 3-6-2- Kipnis had a multi-hit game on Wednesday.

My Pick(s) For April 15th– Bryce Harper is my only pick for today. I need to worry about myself and not the leaders and doing it 1 per day is the way to go.

Double Down Record: 8-4- Same reason as my current record.

Current Average: 37 for 87 for .425

Easy Night

I had a very easy night in BTS on Tuesday. Both of my picks came through in their first at bats of the night and I was done early. I wish it was that easy every night but it never will be. The current BTS leaders are still perfect but it’s only a matter of time until they will fall like everybody else. You can’t do Double Down every day and expect to win. It’s not possible. They will learn sooner or later. Let’s do it.

Recap Of April 12th– Nelson Cruz- 0 for 4- He didn’t do anything and he did cost a lot of streaks.

Buster Posey- DNP- He didn’t play at all. Was a recommended pick but he saved people since he didn’t come into the game.

DJ LeMahieu- 1 for 3- Was the second half of my Double Down and came through in his first at bat.

Goldschmidt has 8 hits for a .267 average so far this season. Goldschmidt has a .434 WOBA so far this season. Goldschmidt has 4 hits for a .444 average against Wood in his career so far. Goldschmidt has a .655 WOBA against Wood in his career so far. Goldschmidt could do very well and be a popular choice for tonight.

Hosmer has a .341 WOBA so far this season. Hosmer has 2 hits for a .111 average against Feldman in his career so far. Hosmer has a .160 WOBA against Feldman in his career so far. I would be very careful with Hosmer and if he goes hitless I would not be surprised at all.

Sleeper Picks For April 13th– David Wright- Wright exactly hasn’t been tearing it up but he is having a decent start to the season and could do well against Adam Conley and Miami today. Wright has 6 hits for a .273 average so far this season. Wright has a .379 WOBA so far this season. Wright has 2 hits for a .667 average against Conley in his career so far. Wright has a .717 WOBA against Conley in his career so far. Wright has been hitting well lately and that could continue today against Conley.

Rougned Odor- Odor could do well today against A.J. Griffin and Oakland. Odor hasn’t been hitting but that could change today. Odor has 6 hits for a .188 average so far this season. Odor has a .266 WOBA so far this season. Odor has 5 hits for a .625 average against Griffin in his career so far. Odor has a .700 WOBA against Griffin in his career so far. Odor hasn’t been doing well at all but he could come through today.

Sleeper Pick Record: 12-6-2- Ortiz and Pujols came through.

Pick To Avoid For April 13th– Jason Kipnis- Kipnis hasn’t been hitting well to start the season and I think he will not have a good game tonight against Drew Smyly and Tampa Bay. Kipnis has 4 hits for a .188 average so far this season. Kipnis has a .253 WOBA so far this season. Kipnis has 1 hit for a .077 average against Smyly in his career so far. Kipnis has a .069 WOBA against Smyly in his career so far. Kipnis isn’t having a good year so far and it is about to get even longer against Smyly tonight.

Pick To Avoid Record: 3-5-2- Lowrie didn’t do anything at all.

My Pick(s) For April 13th– Paul Goldschmidt is the second half of my Double Down for tonight. For all stats see Recommended Picks above.

Gonzalez has 13 hits for a .406 average so far this season. Gonzalez has a .427 WOBA so far this season. Gonzalez has 2 hits for a .200 average against De La Rosa in his career so far. Gonzalez has a .290 WOBA against De La Rosa in his career so far. Gonzalez has been hitting and I think that will continue tonight.

Current Record: 7-3- Both of my picks did come through quick.

Corey Seager has a .900 WOBA against Rubby De La Rosa in his career so far. Seager has 11 hits for a .333 average so far this season.

My other potentials went 2-1-0 yesterday. Hopefully I now start my run. Hopefully we will all be on streaks after tonight. I may change to Seager but we will see.

Possible Rainouts: None.

Disclaimer: My personal picks can change without notice based on lineups and also if any game is rained out.
